About The Program The Libby Medical Program became effective on April 3, 2000 and was created to provide former employees of the Grace Libby Mine and Mill, their dependents and others who live (or lived) in the Libby area, who suffer from asbestos-related conditions and illnesses, with medical care coverage for medical treatment necessary to treat those conditions and illnesses, under the terms described in the plan booklet. The current version of the plan booklet, Libby 005, was issued in July of 2005, and can be downloaded here. Since its inception, the Claims Administrator for the Libby Medical Program has been Health Network America (now HNA/Triveris), located in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Dr. Jay Flynn, Medical Director, has supervised the Program since it began operation. Assisting Dr. Flynn is Maria Farley, RN who answers the nurse hotline number at LMP. The nurse hotline, which can be reached at 1-888-563-1564 is available weekdays from 6am to 6pm Mountain Time to handle member questions and concerns. When calling please identify the Libby Medical Program to the operator so you may be connected to the proper nurse manager.
