What is A PDF File?

Adobe PDF documents can be shared, viewed, and printed by anyone, on any system, using free Adobe Reader® software - regardless of the operating system, original application, or fonts.

A PDF file is a document that will be downloaded to your computer when you click on any of the download links on this page. It is a perfectly safe means of accessing electronic documents from the Libby Medical Program. What happens after you click "download" can vary based on the settings of your web browser and computer. Usually the document will open and look like any other web page. You can then save it to your computer or print it as you would any other document.

The other common thing that may happen is that your computer will ask if you want to save or open the PDF document. You may choose either one. If you choose to save the PDF, you'll need to pick a location on your computer. You can then print the PDF as you would any other document.

In order to view and print PDF documents, your computer must have an Adobe Reader installed. It is common for most computers to have this free software. If your computer won't open our PDF documents, then follow the link below to download a Reader.

You can get more information from the Adobe website, as well as download a current version of the Acrobat Reader for free.
